Meet at Lower River Run Parking Lot (by River Run Lodge in Ketchum)
Destination: Roots Wine Bar & Bottle Shop, 122 S. Main St. Ste A, Hailey

SCHEDULE:

10:30–11am: Check-in and registration at Lower River Run Parking Lot
11am: Bikers depart Lower River Run Parking Lot
Noon–1:30pm: Roots Wine Tasting  & Seasonal Lunch Spread

Price: $80

Guests will meet at Lower River Run Parking Lot (by River Run Lodge in Ketchum) to begin their Roots Cycle & Sip group bike ride. The route will include art stops at John Grade’s large-scale public sculpture Spur, inspired by the unique landscapes of Craters of the Moon National Monument and the history of the railroad in the Wood River Valley, as well as gallerist Gail Severn’s sculpture garden at her home near the bike path, one of the most beautiful gardens in the valley.  

The ride will end at Roots Wine Bar & Bottle Shop in Hailey, where participants will enjoy a seasonal lunch spread provided by Roots to accompany a wine tasting with Bill Canihan of Canihan Family Winery (Sonoma, California) and Dan Kosta of Convene.

For those not wanting to bike back to Ketchum, a complimentary Sturtevants shuttle van will be available for return transport to Lower River Run Parking Lot. 

 

ALL PROCEEDS DIRECTLY SUPPORT SVMOA'S ARTS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING.   

The event is individually ticketed and is 21+.
