Back by Popular Demand! Winemaker talks and wine flights hosted by Scout, a wine and cheese bar located in the Ketchum Town Square, will educate guests on wine pairings, individual wine regions and highlighted wine categories and vintages. Special guests to offer education and inspiration.
Reservations for Symposia are open to Grand Cru Plus and Grand Cru Package Ticket holders first, after which, we will open registration to all ticket holders.

SESSION: RARE VARIETALS
Join Level 3 Sommelier and cheesemonger Amie Marvel of Scout Wine & Cheese for a lineup of rare grape varietals from all over the world. This tour will introduce you to ancient varietals from some of the most special regions in Europe and the Mediterranean, and perhaps a new favorite in the process! Paired with artisanal cheeses from Scout.

Amie Marvel is the resident sommelier and cheesemonger at Scout Wine & Cheese. She’s been in the food and wine business for almost 25 years, working in iconic restaurants from San Francisco to New Orleans, as well spending several seasons on the production side of things in both wine and cheese as a vineyard apprentice and a cheesemaker.

Specializing in small production, unique terroir, and conscientious winemaking, Jackie’s portfolio of wines celebrates some of the rising stars and regions in the global wine community! Paired with artisanal cheeses from Scout Wine & Cheese.
ABOUT JACKIE ELO
Jackie Elo dove headfirst into the wine world at the young age of 19 working at a wine bar in downtown Boise, ID. 17 years later, she is co-owner of Amphora Wine Company, a wine distributor based in Boise. Together she and her business partner, Advanced Sommelier Jeff Moore, strive to expose Idaho to some of the great wineries of the world. Working with importers such as Kermit Lynch, Rosenthal, Rare Wine Company, Louis/Dressner, vom Boden and more, as well as some of the most progressive wineries in America, Amphora Wine Company is supplying our state with the finest selection of high integrity wines. Jackie had the great fortune recently to travel through Argentina and Chile for Amphora, meeting some of the cutting-edge winemakers putting South America on the wine map. She’s excited to share some of those discoveries with us this summer!
