ABOUT THE SUN VALLEY CULINARY INSTITUTE (SVCI)
The culinary hub of the Wood River Valley, Sun Valley Culinary Institute is a non-profit organization devoted to providing education and experiences for professionals, students, and enthusiasts of the culinary arts. Aimed at attracting and developing workforce talent for the Valley’s diverse hospitality industries, SVCI promotes community health and wellness with a focus on local food sources and sustainability. Its one-year Professional Program combines intensive classroom learning with hands-on restaurant experience for students ready to launch a career in the culinary industry. SVCI also offers seasonal and relevant culinary experiences, including chef demonstrations, hands-on cooking, skills development, wine tastings, and more.
