Washington Winemaking Meets Tuscan Tradition: Col Solare's 10-Year Vertical Collection

Enjoy a ten-year tasting history of Col Solare Winery in this generous vertical collection of one 750ml bottle from every vintage beginning in 2008 and culminating with their newest release, the 2017 Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon.

The partnership between two influential wine producers, each the recognized leader in their respective region, Col Solare was founded by Tuscany’s Marchesi Antinori and Washington State’s Chateau Ste. Michelle. The two producers found themselves in partnership after Marchese Antinori’s 1992 visit to Washington’s Columbia Valley at the urging of Ste. Michelle Wine Estate’s consultant and industry legend, Andre Tchelistcheff.

What Marchese Antinori found was an emerging wine region under the leadership of Chateau Ste. Michelle, the area’s oldest and most acclaimed winery. Three years later, the two wine influencers came together to form Col Solare and produce their inaugural 1995 vintage. Since then, Col Solare has continued to unite two unique viticultural and winemaking traditions to produce world-class Cabernet Sauvignon from the very best Washington grapes.
