A Taste of New Orleans from Chef Emeril Lagasse

When it comes to New Orleans cuisine, no one comes to mind quicker than chef Emeril Lagasse. Known for his “New New Orleans” style and mastery of Creole and Cajun cooking, the James Beard Award winner has taken his skills and applied them as a celebrity chef, TV personality, cookbook author, and restaurateur. The winner of this special lot will get to feel just like Emeril in their own kitchen with an autographed chef jacket from the esteemed chef, an Emeril Lagasse cookbook, and assorted kitchen tools.

To even further immerse you in the New Orleans style of cooking, you’ll get four VIP tickets to the 10th Annual Emeril Lagasse Foundation Boudin, Bourbon, & Beer festival held in New Orleans. Bourbon and beer might sound familiar, but boudin? Boudin is a French-Cajun hybrid dish, coming from the original French word for “blood sausage.” In Louisiana, the dish is made of rice dressing with pork and spices inside of a sausage casing. At this Louisiana-inspired culinary celebration, you’ll feast on more than 70 of the nation’s best chefs’ interpretations of boudin as well as Abita craft beer, Buffalo Trace bourbon tastings, live music under the stars, and many fun surprises!
